Those closest to me are, like me, tremendously impressed with with the courage and intelligence of your letter to Michele Bachmann. We never cease to be amazed at how someone in her position has such a deficient and inaccurate knowledge of U.S. history, the Constitution, the economy, and the political process. We place Sarah Palin and Christine O"Donnell (who lost the 2010 Delaware race for U.S. Senate) in the same cohort. With all of the intelligent and knowledgeable women serving this nation in so many endeavors, it's a shame that these three are the fodder for late night comedians and cable talk shows. Why just Michelle Bachmann, why not every leader in our government? Another question I have is what does gender have to do with it? She isn't the first female representative, nor the only or even the last female we'll ever have in government.
